Veronika's is located in rural Arkansas in a beautiful wooded area overlooking the Caddo River. It is
near Hot Springs (45 min. drive), Mount Ida (20 Min. drive) and Glenwood (5 min. drive). Several large
lakes are nearby,including Lakes Ouachita, Hamilton, DeGray, and Greeson.
Veronika's has two units for overnight, weekend or longer rental. The cabin is a larger facility separate
from the main house. The apartment is a somewhat smaller, private space in the original structure built
on this property. Both units have been recently refurbished and are spacious, clean and comfortable.
Glenwood, the closest town, has shopping, services, and restaurants that will fill most of the needs of
visitors to our area. Floating the Caddo River is a favorite activity of guests of Veronikas. Rentals for
Canoes,kayaks, rafts etc are available at nearby locations, one is across the street from Veronika's and
other rental businesses are located in Glenwood. Golfers enjoy a round of golf at the Glenwood Country
Club, a challenging local club that welcomes guests. The nearby Albert Pike recreation area provides
excellent opportunities for hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and rock climbing. Montgomery county, where
we are located, boasts some of the best quartz crystal mines in the world. Many of our guests visit this
area to dig for crystals in the nearby mines. If searching for quartz crystals isn't exciting enough you can
hunt for diamonds at the nearby Crater of Diamonds in Murfreesboro.
